Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Scope

This Policy applies to all purchases made by organizations, institutions or other business customers ("Clients") of the SportIQ SaaS platform and related services (including platform subscriptions, modules, implementation, onboarding, training or support) through the website www.sportiq.in (the "Service").

2. Definitions

  • **Subscription** – a recurring paid access to the Service (monthly, annual or custom term).
  • **Initial Term** – the first paid period of a Subscription.
  • **Renewal Term** – any subsequent paid period following the Initial Term.
  • **Onboarding/Setup Services** – professional services (customisation, branding, integration, training) rendered in connection with the Subscription.
  • **Cancellation** – termination of a Subscription or Services by the Client or SportIQ.
  • **Refund** – return of monies paid to the Client under the terms of this Policy.

3. Cancellation by Client

The Client may cancel its Subscription at any time by providing written notice (via email to info@sportiqin.com or through the user portal).

For Subscriptions:

  • If cancellation notice is received at least **30 calendar days** before the end of the current paid period, the Subscription will not renew and will expire at the end of the term.
  • If notice is received once a new term has commenced, the Subscription will expire at the end of that period without refund of the remaining term.
  • No partial refunds are provided once a paid period has commenced.

Onboarding/Setup Services:

If such services have commenced more than 10% of total hours or resources before cancellation, the Client is liable for proportional fees to cover incurred costs.

4. Cancellation by SportIQ

SportIQ may terminate access with immediate effect for reasons including breach of Terms of Service, non-payment, illegal use, or force majeure.

In such cases, if the Client has not materially breached the agreement, the Client will receive a **pro-rata refund** of any prepaid fees for the unused portion.

5. Refunds

5.1 Eligible for Refund

  • Technical Failure: If the Service is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours due to SportIQ's fault and not resolved within a reasonable time, the Client may request a pro-rata refund for the downtime period.
  • Duplicate Payment: If the Client is charged twice for the same period, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full.
  • Cancellation by SportIQ: As per Section 4.

5.2 Not Eligible for Refund

  • Subscription fees once a billing period has started (unless covered under 5.1).
  • Onboarding or Setup Services that have been delivered or commenced.
  • Fees for add-on modules, integrations, or third-party services procured through SportIQ.
  • Cancellations made after the renewal date of a Subscription term.

5.3 Refund Process

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@sportiqin.com.
  • SportIQ will review and respond within 10 business days.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 15 business days to the original payment method.

6. Free Trial & Money-Back Guarantee

  • If a free trial is offered, the Client may cancel anytime during the trial without charge.
  • If a money-back guarantee period is explicitly stated at the time of purchase, the Client may request a full refund within that period by contacting SportIQ.

7. Changes to this Policy

SportIQ reserves the right to update this Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Revised" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
